Printing error with Note Names using different font

• Oct 27, 2012 - 21:42

I'm running Musescore 1.2 revision 5470 in Ubuntu 12.04 on a Toshiba laptop.
I've installed "Technical" ttf font into my OS, and have untill now no printing difficulties specific to it.

Creating a new score, and then entering note names, lyrics, and a text line between the lyric line and the staves(dulcimer hammering ), I've then changed the fonts in each case to Technical.
If I then print(via a usb connection) to my hp photosmart printer, the note names print in a most peculiar fashion.
They print with the correct layout, but with a second copy of each letter inverted on top. If the note carried an accidental, the second copy is also offset by half its width.
Any other place that I've changed the font to Terminal, prints OK, and no other font produces this effect with note names.

If any one else has any similar experience, I'd be glad to compare notes (Couldn't avoid that, I'm glad to say).
John
