French Horn Soundfont/VST

Hey! I have tried so many times to switch to Finale or Sib, and the truth is, I absolutely despise both of them. Disregarding my reasons, the one and only issue I have with working with MuseScore (for over 5 years) is the MIDI playback. I want something better, more immersive, and something I can more accurately depict the connection of instruments when played together in harmony.

I'm an audio producer of over 4 years in Ableton live and am extremely familiar with VST plugins. One brass plugin I've found to like is EastWest Hollywood Brass. While I digress about the detail, I am looking to reach a goal at the end of this conversation on the forums:

  1. To install either a VST or a Soundfont
  2. VST/Soundfont MIDI playback to read (de)crescendo's and dynamics accurately
  3. (optional) Playback to read articulation if possible.

At the end of the day, I can edit the sound of the horns post-production of the music in Ableton, however, I'm looking for a more accurate connection with my music during MIDI playback. If anyone has tips, tricks, or sources to help me, let me know. Budget is no factor, so hit me with whatever software you got if necessary.
