Instrument Changes

So, I've noticed some problems with instrument changes in a piece, so I figured that I'd list them here:

1) If you add too many instrument changes to a piece (such as here: https://musescore.org/en/node/287611), the entire score ceases to properly play. In that example, every instrument became a string ensemble.

2) All details of the instrument that were changed from the default option are returned to default. This includes any changes to the instrument name, or any changes to the instrument in the mixer.

While issues regarding the second can be resolved by manually editing an uncompressed file, I feel like having to manually edit an uncompressed file is way beyond what anyone should have to do, especially for things as simple as altering pan in the mixer or short instrument names.
