Note stem lost after Shift + Left Arrow

Using the attached score.
1. Click on last note (D)
2. Enter note entry mode
3. Shift+left arrow.

Result: D swaps places with previous note (E). Note stem on the E is lost.

Expected result: Note stem is not lost.

Save and re-open restores the note stem.
