Ability to apply changes to specified measures only

Every time the user apples "Expand Chord Symbols" it applies the pattern to the whole score. Would be more useful if the user could (in order of my preference) either:

1. Select bars and apply changes to those bars only, or...
2. Have the ability to apply the changes for 1 bar only, or...
3. Apply the changes only to the next chord changes...

...while leaving the rest of the score unamended.

The purpose would be to make it easier to have some variation (e.g. to apply a change of rhythm to signal an event such as the end of a part, or a cue to signal the beginning of e.g. a vocal part).
