The MS4 Tempo % slide breaks after altering the score tempo

After composing I decided to change the tempo from dotted crotchet = 120bpm to 110 bpm, the tempo in the top right corner next to the playback etc changed to crochet = 165 bpm instead of staying in the dotted crotchet = format
