Adding a slur crashes the app

Using Musescore 4 on MacOS 10.15.7.

I'm attempting to add a slur between an A to a D across two measures at 83, Violin 2. For some reason, every time I add it, the entire program crashes. I've tried all combinations of pressing the S key, pressing on the button both in the top bar, and in the palettes, and selecting one or both notes attempting to be slurred. This doesn't happen anywhere else in the score, including the same instrument other measures and same measure for different instruments. Because that was the case, I tried to create it elsewhere and copy it in, but that also crashed. Is there something I'm doing, or is this a weirdly specific bug?
