Shortcut for rest not working when writing tabs, shortcut for dotted notes also not working

In musescore 3 when writing tabs you had to press ; for a rest because 0 obviously wouldn't work but it's not working. Also if i change the shortcut it isnt working. Even imported my old setting from MS 3. Still not working.

Same goes for dotted notes. Shortcut should be . but nothing is happening
