musescore app wont open at all

I was trying to open the application (of course, to write music). When I clicked on it, it would show the loading and then simply never open.
I'm a bit confused. It worked when I first installed it, but a day after it decides not to, and im ????
Am I doing something wrong? Or am I simply being stupid?
I'll keep trying to open it and if it works- great! If not, guess I can't write music. ¯|(ツ)/¯
