Musescore 4 crashing when changing instrument sounds from MSbasic to Musesounds

I've just downloaded MS4 and it has been great and I was very excited to try out the new instrument sounds and had no problem doing such with percussion and brass, however, when I downloaded MuseWoodwinds and tried to change the sound, i tried to listen to it to no avail and then after about 20 seconds, the app closed itself. I haven't seen anyone else talking about this so i don't know if it's just an issue with me or my computer. I'd love some suggestions.
