MuseScore 4.0.0 Piano smears across chord change

See attached MS3 and MS4 files.

For the MS4 file, in the part labeled A, the C chord smears into the F chord upon playback. In the part labeled B is the workaround.

For the MS3 file, playback shows that MuseScore 3 does not have the problem.

It is as if MuseScore 4 applies the pedal before the F chord is struck, ie while the C chord is still sounding.
