Muse Sounds Strings Articulation Issue

When using MuseScore Strings sound fonts, articulations are SIGNIFICANTLY quieter than unarticulated notes. This makes playback sound really awkward and inaccurate, and it seems like a really odd issue considering how integral articulations are to notation and playback. Is there any way to remedy this?
