System sound crashed upon starting musescore 2.0

MuseScore 2.0 made sound crash for other sound apps which got fixed by setting sample rate to 44100 in Preferences->I/O->ALSA.

Brilliant support for midi import of selective instruments and ofcourse the tablauture conversion is great.

I'm using Lubuntu 14.04. Hardware is Dell Vostro 1014 Laptop.
