How to add overdrive for chords in Musescore 4

There is a way to add overdrive to guitar via the palettes menu, although it doesn't change the sound for chords added via the quick chord feature. I'm just wondering if there is a way to make the overdrive for the guitar also work for the guitar chords? I don't have any plugins, but I am using a sound font for the guitar, although it doesn't seem to work for the basic sound font either. Thanks.
