MuseScore 4 - Glissando's and falls

My friend and I are trying to write a song that requires glissando's and falls. The glissando's do close to nothing and the falls do way to much. I want the fall to land on a nice note, but it goes down almost an octave. I've tried using bends, but they do not help. Without the falls the song has no movement and it needs movement.
