Ghosting of pallete images

When I am entering a score I usually have the Palette, Selection Filter and Properties menus all open, and the palette tab selected. On occasion I notice a flickering or ghost image when I hover over this section of the screen. It appears that one of the open underlying palettes such as articulations, clefs etc. is being painted intermittently over the top of the left side of the screen and overshadows the three selection tabs, the add palette and search button and over the topmost displayed palette that is actually open. It also flicks over the pencil icon for insert mode and some of the note duration settings on the menu bar. This ghost image flickers on and off quickly as the mouse is moved while hovering and does not appear to interfere with any selection which is actually made so it is an annoyance, not a hinderance. I was curious if others have noticed this behavior. It happens often and on many different scores. It may happen when the slide bar for the slide bars for the palettes is not all the way to the top as moving the slide bar up is sufficient to stop the behavior and it may only initiate when the slide bar is not at top of slider. Impossible to grab an image.
