Canvas and Wizard Adjustability--change and remember user-set view please.

Greetings, all:

My everyday process involves more than one application viewable at a time (e.g. going back and forth between DAW and Musescore, or copying information from a pdf or poetry text file into my score). The default view for the Musescore 4 update and for opening selection wizard is fullscreen, and I desperately wish to be able to adjust what size Musescore opens, and have the program remember my setting. MS3 remembered this size information.

The new "workspace" section doesn't seem to control this, and I've set my Canvas to default to Page Width, but things keep opening up fullscreen. Perhaps I am missing something?
