Color setting in "Style settings" menu does nothing

In MuseScore 4, in the Style Settings menu, there's a submenu for Text Styles. Regardless of what text element is being edited (Title, Subtitle, Composer...), changing the Color setting has no effect, although other settings seem to work fine.

I understand this is a low-priority issue for most, but it's creating headaches for me, so I hope it gets fixed. I can change the color by editing most elements directly as a workaround, but for part name text specifically, the only way to change font color is through the Style Settings menu.
