Fretboard Diagram: number a different fret

• Jun 25, 2023 - 21:15

Hi folks!

Question about fretboard diagrams. The fret # for chords not in 1st position always indicates the lowest fingered fret in MuseScore. But often what is most readable for rapid playing is to show you the position of the lowest string, or the string you have to finger first. Often those two are the same string, but neither is the lowest fret, such as here:

What would be most helpful for fingerings like this would be to show the fret # (7) beside the Cb on the low string. But I don't see any way to control that.

Is there a feature I'm overlooking?

Thanks in advance!

Dave
