Instrument Change

Hi, I'd like to change the instrument from Piano to Flute from a mid-staff note of Measure 38 to another mid-staff note. I followed the instruction in the manual of MuseScore 4 version, but I can't seem to hear the sound of the Flute played from that specific note. Please help me correct my written score attached. I'd appreciate it.
