Musescore 4.1.1 shows title screen then disappears. Repeated removals/reinstalls not helping.

MuseScore-4.1.1.232071203-x86_64.msi
Windows 11 Pro. Version 22H2.
clicking on icon to load program causes logo screen to flash onto the screen, then disappear. Nothing else happens. I have un-installed/reinstalled repeatedly with the same results.
Problems started this morning when I downloaded new version.
