MuseScore 4 problems

I have downladed MuseScore4. It seems that everytime I close down for the session I lose the MIDI feature which I want the programme always to default. Likewise with the SOUND I have to go back to musehub everything I begin a new session and download the Sounds that I want. This is driving me mad, I liked your presentation but some things are hard to do. Why did you make MS Basic sounds so horrible?

How do I make these features available when Im open my current project?

I've been using Finale for a long time and although it has a stepp learning curve - so far I will probably stick with it.
