Crackily, slowing, and occasionally ringing audio through the midi playback. (MS4)
This all happened for the first time a few days ago. I was writing music with perfect playback. Then, at some point, the audio became deeply un-hearable. The audio sounds similar to slow-motion audio, but also has some high pitched tones at the top. It's crackly and crunchy. It also plays much slower than real time. The clock which shows how many seconds into playing you are, moves incredibly slowly. Maybe 0.2 seconds go by in a real life second, though it varies. Additionally, when I open Musescore 4, a stream of white noise plays through my speakers.
I've done everything I can find on how to fix it: Turning off exclusive mode, Turning up the buffer size, turning on the mixer, checking for performance caps on my computer, extra.
I know that MS4 can run smoothly on my system, as it had been doing so for a while. A clue (which is probably irrelevant) is that around the time this happened I opened OBS. Immediately after opening it my audio stopped coming through on MS4. The problem disappeared when OBS was closed. I think it was maybe 15 minutes later that I noticed the audio issues for the first time.
Let me know if you can think of any fixes,
Thank you
