Keyboard pedal not working right?

The pedal doesn't suspend the notes its supposed to, in my .mscz I even added invisible ties but the notes still just won't extend when played. I added a screenshot of the relevant section with the hidden notes visible to hopefully clarify what I want to hear vs. what I'm actually hearing. I saw another post along this vein with someone saying they just needed to close the app and reopen it, but that did not solve the problem at all. I even tried exporting it to musescore.com but the issue remained.
