Setting up a new score

Using Musescore 4.4
Start a new score in the Scores screen, on my main monitor
Choose instruments - in this case: Voices>SATB
In the next window, click on any of the large icons - eg key/time signatures - nothing happens.
Move the 'New Score' window with Key signature etc, to my secondary screen/monitor and it works.
It also works if I move the whole program onto my secondary monitor.

What I'd like:-
To be able to use the program and its facilities on either monitor, not just my secondary one
