Musescore 4.4 -- Measure numbers not restorable

Measure numbers that are MANUALLY deleted are not restorable using the settings pane via Format>Style>Measure numbers. Reloading the score does not correct this issue.

A limited (and unintuitive) workaround may be to change settings under Measure Properties, but this applies only to a specific measure.
