Muse Sounds - Weird volume change when scooping into trombone notes

For some reason, when I add a scoop to a trombone note using the free Muse Sounds brass pack trombone, it increases in volume and cuts off too quickly before the start of the next note; a whole note sounds more like an eighth tied to a dotted half.
I've noticed this with a few of the other free Muse Sounds instruments, but it's so much more apparent with the trombone (and with brass instruments in general).
