Couldn't invoke symbols palette (MAC OS X Yosemite 10.10 / 2.0 beta)

Hi - recently upgraded the Mac OS to Yosemite; for some reason, the "Z" shortcut in 2.0 beta wouldn't invoke the symbols palette any longer. Was able to work around the problem by defining a second shortcut in preferences.

(I'm assuming the problem corresponded with the OS upgrade; hadn't made any other changes I know of that would have affected things.)
