Tempo text position

Albert's Essential Dictionary of Music Notation says that the left edge of tempo text at the beginning of a score should be aligned with the left edge of the time signature, but there seems to be no easy way to do this with Musescore. You have to click on a note or rest, so if you want to put a tempo mark at the beginning of your score, you have to put it over the first note or rest, then if you want to standardize it with Albert's you have to move it "manually."

I note that the examples in the demo file are inconsistent on this point; for instance, Golliwog's Cakewalk has its tempo text in accordance with Albert's, the Sarabande has it over the first note, not the time signature, and the Promenade has it aligned actually to the left of the time signature's left margin.

Shouldn't you be able to click on the time signature when you put tempo text in, to have that text aligned with the time signature's left margin? And shouldn't the demo scores be standardized?

(I did a search on tempo text and didn't see this mentioned, though I didn't read all the numerous results completely.)
