Option to fix note entry anomaly

I would like an option to prevent extending a note's duration in a voice unless the note is followed by a rest (or rests) of sufficient duration to allow for the extension. Presently Musescore extends a note by stealing time from a succeeding figure whether it consists of rests or not, which leads to user confusion and an intractable Musescore error, as noted in posts http://musescore.org/en/node/8051 and http://musescore.org/en/node/3057.
