Uninstalling MuseScore 0.9

Can anyone please advise how I uninstall MuseScore 0.9?
I have tried the usual uninstall procedure but without success. Is there an additional piece of software I need to uninstall? I have also noticed difficulties in accessing a couple of programmes (Pictures and Documents) since installing this software.
