Copy and paste voices: save hours of frustration

I suggest adding a few sentences to the handbook saying that you can only paste voice(s) to the upper voice(s), so paste the lower voices in to the top voice(s), exchange them to the bottom using the Edit>Voices menu, then paste in the upper voices. This could go in Voices and Copy and Paste.

In trying to find out how to copy and paste voices myself I have read so many queries on the forum, many answered by that nice man David Bolton, that cover the same ground. Much of this effort could be avoided by a clear statement of the principle. Pasting voices is different from entering them from scratch, which is from the top down and is covered in the Handbook and is the only statement on entering voices that I could find.

This would especially help people like me who are not handy with computers and who have not used other music programs.
