Barbershop Harmonizer

MuseScore plugin to help harmonizing a melody in Barbershop style

The first step in arranging a song in the Barbershop style is to harmonize the melody.
This plugin tries to facilitate this first step, starting from a given melody, by adding the 3 harmony notes (Tenor, Baritone and Bass) to the existing melody note (Lead).
The interface is laid out to match the Barbershop Arranging Manual recommendations:

• Root selection (with chord progressions down the circle of fifth, and tritone substitution)
• Chord nature

• Voicing with recommended voicing depending on the Lead note's function in the chord
