Merge Voices : 4 into 1
This plugin works on the first stave of a score and merges all the voices into a single voice based on note duration. It was developed to help convert multi-voice notation into lute tablature.
Here's an example of the result on a 3-voice score excerpt:
Usage
Can be applied to a selection of measures or to the whole score.
Limitations
• It is very slow due to use of Musescore's built-in pad commands for changing note duration. Repeatedly using undo after the process shows that quite a bit of work is going on but I am still surprised at just how slow it is. Suggestion: Use on a single measure to test performance before commiting to a whole score. Any ideas on improving the performance would be most welcome.
• It does not deal with triplets.
• There needs to be an option on how to process ties.
