fingerings
Hello, I'm a student classical guitar and I like working with MuseScore, a great program! But I have a little problem: I am not 100% free to put the fingering figure (left hand 1, 2, 3 or 4) where I want it, even not when I use the arrow keys with or without Cntr-key. Mostly I'd like to place the fingering (LH 1, 2, 3 or 4) as close as possible to the note, but then it jumps up again above the notes. Thanks in advance for a word of explanation.

MuseScore probeert om overlappingen tussen element te vermijden, hoogst waarschijnlijk plaats je de vingerzetting nét te dicht bij volgens zijn ingebouwde algoritmes.
Je kan via het Instellingenoverzicht (F8) onder de hoofding Element het vinkje weghalen bij
Automatisch plaatsen. MuseScore zal dit element dan niet langer beschouwen als onderdeel van zijn automatische layout, je kan de vingerzettingen nu volledig met de hand plaatsen.Tip: voeg eerst al je vingerzettingen toe, rechtsklik dan op 1 ervan en maak gebruik van Selecteer alle soortgelijke elementen om deze instellingen voor alle geselecteerde vingerzettingen in één keer te wijzigen via het instellingenoverzicht.

You're most likely placing the fingering just close enough to the notes to trigger MuseScore's collision detection algorithm, resulting in autoplacement indeed preventing that collision. You can turn of Automatic placements for an element using the corresponding checkbox in the Inspector(F8)
