pizzicato in Musescore 2.3.2 on MacBook Air

Hi,
I am working in Musescore 2.3.2. because Musescore 3 isn't working properly on my (new) Mac book air.
I can't find how to do pizzicato for my strings. Online I can only find how to do it for a computer with a left and right mouse click. but since a Mac doesn't have this option, it seems impossible to find 'Staff Text Properties' in the menu or help button. Also when I type pizzicato or pizz. in the help button, it doesn't seem to know what I mean.

is it not possible to do pizzicato in this version for Mac?
