how to choose a different instrument

Hello,

I was wondering how I can change de instrument in which the program plays back your entered sheet music?

If it's only about the playback sound, use the mixer.
If you also want correct written transposition, change the instrument via the staff properties.

Of simply choose the correct instrument when creating the score from the start. Have a read through of at least the basics chapter of the handbook: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/basics
