How to convert a mp4 into musescore
I am trying to convert a mp4 file into musescore so I don't have to put in the notes by myself but I keep getting an error. Is it not possible or do I need to use another way?

mp4 is likely a video or an audio recording; MuseScore does not support converting audio to notation; you'll want to look into software specialized in that. Just keep in mind that if the recording is not of just a single instrument your chances of anything usable coming out of it are quite low.
If you make an omelet from more than one egg, it is quite hard to then ask someone to separate the omelet back into their respective eggs.
