Retrieving old save files

I was working on an orchestration and saved it on musescore 4. However for some reason the file had opened twice so when I had saved the first and removed it, I still saw my score. Without thinking I saved it again and clicked on the x to close the tab. However this last tab was the original score without the hours of work I had put into it. So on my computer it now has the first version of it saved, the one without the progress. Is there a way to retrieve an oldrr save file to get back my progress or will I have to do my work all over again?
