Captura de elementos gráficos
Boa tarde.
Cumprimentos
Paulo Reis

Capture of graphic elements
Good afternoon.
My name is Paulo Reis and I am a teacher of musical training and ensemble classes.
I always (until version 3) used the feature to capture sections of the score by copying/pasting a chord, a scale, a blank staff, etc. to a text file.
It turns out that with version 4 I was unable to do it in the same practical way as I did previously.
I ask that this function be added again because I have been your customer for several years in the paid version.
I have already noticed that there are more users asking for this function to be returned and although it is possible to save as an image and then cut this shape, it is very time consuming and complicated. It will be a huge setback for the program. Thank you for information on when you expect to recover this important role in the program.
I await your response and I congratulate you because, for the rest, the application meets my needs very well.
Compliments
Paulo Reis

I think you are referring to the built-in image capture tool? Certainly I'm unaware of any other tool that could be used in the manner you are describing. (and I've been using MuseScore since version 2).
Until the image capture tool is returned to MuseScore, you can use your operating system's screenshot application. For example, in Windows 10 and 11, use Snipping Tool, which can copy your Full Screen, a single Window, a user-defined Rectangle, or a Freeform area. (This last is actually superior to MuseScore's image capture, IMO.) I don't know what the analogous tool is called in the Mac system, but I know it has one.
Alternatively, if the OS screenshot tool doesn't meet your needs, there are dozens of other screenshot tools available out there, many of them for free, that can do this sort of thing.
