my new asus cant update to this latest program I try to start agian .The oldest computer works but it take some time.Can I download direct from musescore site?? brommys@gmail.com

Are you trying to update through Musescore (Help > Check for update) or Muse Hub?
Yes, you can manually reinstall Musescore by downloading it from the website. You should first uninstall the old version and then run the new installer. Your settings and scores won't be touched, but regardless, it's always good to have a backup.
If you used Muse Hub to install Musescore 4, you can use the Hub to reinstall.
