MuseSounds and VST3 playback bugs
I would like to ask about some bugs in playing songs in MuseScore 4.2.

I use Muse Sounds (Alto Sax in the example). Is there any way to fix the out-of-tune sounds (bar 1 and 2) and why does the instrument only tune when we add another note (create an interval/chord, bar 3, 4, 5 and 6)?

Second recording: I use with Orchestools (OT Brass -> Trumpet in the example) in VST3 format. Why do sounds freeze when making "quick" changes in notation or song playback?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Those are the same videos. What I meant was I cannot repeat the problems on my end. I'm not sure how to solve either problem. One suggestion I have is to try out (or revert back to) an earlier version of MuseScore 4 (should be available to download somewhere on github)

Sorry, I misunderstood you. Unfortunately, reinstalling to a lower version didn't change anything. Reinstalling Muse Sounds also didn't make any difference. If you have MuseScore version 4 installed along with Muse Sounds, you could check 1. problem - create a project (Alto Sax instrument, in the mixer sound: Muse Sounds -> Muse Woodwinds -> Alto Sax), transcribe the notes according to the video, and see if you encounter the same problem

I tried it myself again and I hear the difference between bar 2 and 4. MuseSounds has some inconsistencies in it but it's under development so it should be getting better over time.

Ok, thank you for your help
For the first one (out-of-tune notes) see if this discussion helps: https://musescore.org/en/node/338796

In the discussion you provided, no solution fixed the out of tune issue
