multiple instruments different key signatures?
hello
i want to group a saxophone with 1 sharp, a clarinet with zero sharp, and a piano with 2 sharps.
but when i set one instrument, it modifies all others. WHY?
so can i select multiple instruments with independent key signatures? or it can not handle?
thank you

Make sure you select the correct instruments when you set up the score and that you are viewing without the Concert pitch button selected (bottom right of window). When adding a key signature add it using the concert pitch definition. For your example you would need to add a two flat (Bb/Gmin) key signature. Musescore knows what transpositions each instrument works with and sorts out the correct key signatures in the score automatically.

I am not sure I understand what you actually want to do then.
But see if this helps https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/key-signatures#add-local-key-sig
You should read up on how to work with transposing instruments in the handbook:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/transposition#transposing-instrumen…
The short explanation is that MuseScore supports two "views" of the score. "Concert Pitch" where all instruments are written "as sounding" with the same key signature, and "written pitch" where all instruments are written transposed as the player should read them, with different key signatures matching the instrument transposition.
And you can easily switch between them with by enabling/disabling a "Concert Pitch" button.

But the OP doesn't want "automatic" for some reason. Some people just want a hard life!

Perhaps the OP wants to write (gasp!) polytonal music!

As I said, some people just want a hard life. Having even one tonality is more than enough.

Thank you so much for sharing the link. When I was not in the mood for work, my friend suggested this website, which he uses to do his work. They https://domypaper.com/ are a writing services provider. I used them, and he was right; they are really good. If you also need someone to do your work, they are recommended.
