Note entry cursor on wrong side for mouse input (0.9.6 regression)

1. Create or open new score
2. Press "N" to begin note entry
3. Click staff to add a note via mouse input (notice cursor is on left side instead of the right side)
4. Press A to add a note via keyboard input

Expected behavior: Keyboard note entry should add an "A" following the note from step 3

Actual behavior: Keyboard note entry replaces the note from step 3 because the cursor is on the wrong side.
