The Getting Started video series has been made for MuseScore 1.x. For 2.0, the video tutorials will have to be overhauled due to a new UI design in MuseScore, many changes in the menu structure and contextual menus (right click), addition of the inspector and more.

The current series has served us well though, so perhaps the storyline for each video can be preserved which will bootstrap the work of having to redo all the video tutorials.

I am willing to oversee this. It will be a good project for the summer - assuming we will be in beta by then :)

Does anyone know if Katie Wardrobe has some free time to update her videos?

I contacted Katie and she kindly replied that she has no time available to recreate the video tutorials for 2.0.

Katie has set the bar really high. Our goal should be to obtain video tutorials for MuseScore 2.0 with the same quality in video editing and narrative. In fact, let's try to do even better.

Well I'm fairly competent as you have already seen, but I could do with some help, even if it's just sending me video sequences to add a narrative to.

As I mentioned in the documentation forum http://musescore.org/en/node/23161 it would be great to have different narrative sets for the different languages.

I am happy to prepare the basic English script if volunteers from each language could be found to provide voiceovers from that in their own language.

What do you think?

Now that the Beta is here we need to be thinking more about this.

It has struck me that it would be good to have a homegrown audio track to act as a signature tune for opening and closing credits.

I did look at using part of Reunion, but it just doesn't work.

Would anyone be willing to write something no more than 1 minute long we could use for this, and which could be faded out quickly without detriment to the piece?

Preferably it should be written and rendered with MuseScore 2, and should have an MIT licence.

I saw on youtube a video about musescore 2.0 with a litlle opening.... could we use that ?
Do I have to find it again ?

No sorry , this one was made theses days, mine was older , at least one month.... The one I think about add a little "opening title" about 3 seconds, and i think we saw a man talking and musescore scren after...
I will search again...
