Musescore's playing at an octave higher and double the written tempo
I'm using AKG K240 Studio headphones connected to a Tascam US 4x4 soundcard. Whenever I open musescore and try to input notes or tempo, the playback plays everthing double (octave higher and double the written tempo).
I tried checking my sample rate, and from what I can tell its 44.1.
I tried looking at everything I could but I still couldn't find any solution, so I'm asking for help.

Have you tried to change it to 48 kHz ?

I did try doing that, but it didn't help.
