Need help

I've been trying to put a few pdf files into musescore but they all end up a big garbled mess. I'm leading a choir for Christmas & I wanted to get their parts on the this so I could send them their individual parts to practice at home.

I'm sure if I could just get each song on muse score I could copy & paste their individual parts in another file but I'm just not good enough with reading music & I'm too new to musescore to get it done.

If anyone could get this onto musescore I would be so thankful!

Thank you so much

Probably because I am not a native English speaker, I do not understand if:

A) you started doing this and MuseScore did not work as you expected and then you are asking for advise, hints, help about how to do it correctly

OR

B) the project is due too shortly for you to have time to learn how to use MuseScore and then you are asking for someone else to do the note and lyrics entering for you.

Note that it is highly probable that A) will elicit some response from this forum, but less so for B).

It is both actually. I didn't realize how hard this would be when I started this project. I was told be a friend that pdf to music program was great but then I tried it & the musescore website pdf converter is 100 times better but still all over the place. I thought maybe someone had access to a better one.

Hi Jojo, I was looking for a pdf to music scanner and thought I would try pdf2music pro, but found a very bad design fault, according to the web site "Because it only processes PDF files that have been exported from a score editor software, PDFtoMusic Pro offers a unique reliability and outstanding results.
Therefore, scanned sheet music cannot be managed by PDFtoMusic Pro."

Gave it a try anyway and found this to be the case, tried to convert from a pdf of photocopied sheet music and was given the error message to the effect, that this pdf was not created by a notation program.
While pdf2music pro may suit a number of people, I find it useless as a general pdf converter.

Even if the scan and conversion were perfect, I'm afraid you would not easily achieve your stated goal. You would still need to separate the Voices on each staff into Soprano/Alto etc. Even if you only had 2 parts -SA and TB - you would need to manually insert and check the lyrics. Personally, I'd just use an image capture program and copy the sections you want and paste into a new document. Should suffice for practice.
