I live in Hong Kong, and Songbook is now showing a Chinese interface. How do I switch to English? Would it be possible to have a clearly defined icon for changing language?

Thank you for the swift reply. But it didn't follow the OS this case. My iOS is in English. Any pointers? This is for logging into MuseScore online.

Thanks for the screenshots diomedea.

You mentioned it was ok for one of the latest upgrades. You mean the app upgrade or iOS?
Could you check for me which language the free MuseScore app uses?

Finally the split screen image shows that you have English UK first. Could you set English as first and check what the Songbook app does? I'm curious for the outcome since there is no English UK language for the app. So Songbook will fallback onto something else. And instead of picking up English it goes to Chinese.

Thanks for helping us out.

Also, could you make sure you are using the latest version of Songbook and could you tell us which version of iOS you run and on which device?

Thank you for your responses.

I am using the latest version of MuseScore songbook, as far as I am aware. I have always updated when prompted. I think it was OK when I first installed it, but that was a long time ago and I did not use MuseScore for a while, so I am not completely confident about that.

I am using iOS 9.2 (13C75) on an iPad Air 2.

I switched the system to English (US). I can't see any way of putting "English" first (see screenshot), although it does sit second in both cases.

I have just installed the free Musescore app and it came up in English.

I just uninstalled Songbook (while in English US version) and reinstalled from the cloud and I still have Chinese.

I believe I am using 1.10.1, although I cannot see any way of displaying this in the app.

hi,
I just download the app and got the same issue on my iPad. My iPad use English as default language but I had my region set to Japan because I live there. It looks like the app use your region setting to set the language. Change your General > REGION FORMATS > REGION to the region you like and you will have you app in this region language. I set mine United State then restart the app and the app was in english.
Hope it'll help you.
Regards.
