Placing arpeggio in front of a chord.
In the attachment I have a problem placing an arpeggio in front of the chord in the
last measure. As you can see there is not enough place. I first tried to nudge the chord
by double clicking on it and then nudge note by note but for some reason MuseScore
crashes every time I nudge a second note of the chord.
Is there a way to ‘push aside’ that chord so I can place the arpeggio?

Drag and dropping an arpeggio line on one of the note of the chords should work.

Further to your original question, if you need to open up some extra space before a note or chord:
1. Right-click on the note (or chord or even a single note of the chord);
2. Select "Note Properties..."; and
3. Increase the value for "Additional leading space."
