Merge two instruments into one

Hi,
I don't know if anyone already asked this, if so, I apologize.

I want to generate the midi of this sheet music I transcribed. But when I do it, it is divided in two parts played separately. I want to generate the midi of this music attached so that it can be played as a one part.

Hope I did myself clear. Can anyone help me?

It's not 100% automatic but you could :

  1. Select all the measures in staff 2
  2. Go to Edit -> Voice -> Exchange voice 1 and 2
  3. Where you have notes in staff one, select a measure, copy it, select a rest in staff 2, voice 2 and paste
  4. Do the same for all the measures (don't forget to put the tie again between the two last measures)
  5. Select all the measures in staff 2 and go to Edit -> Voice -> Exchange voice 1 and 2 again
  6. Go to Create -> Instruments and delete the first piano
  7. There are some manual adjustment to do, such as some beam direction (select a notehead, press X) and maybe some rests to move (double click the rest and use the up and down arrows on your keyboard)
